![]() But other things like Xenonauts (which is what kicked all this off) and Half-Life are still blocked. ![]() They might have done this 2 years ago for all I know! Now I can play Magic Carpet and Fallout 2 without huge amounts of stuff-around, yay. Just by writing this post, I noticed it looks like GOG has updated the version of DOSBox they use to be 64-bit so they support ≥Catalina, that's great news. ![]() Is there a better way? I don't particularly feel committed enough to trying this out to buy Parallels outright just to tinker with some nostalgia. A 32-bit application can detect whether it is running under WOW64 by calling the IsWow64Process function (use IsWow64Process2 if targeting Windows 10). The best thing I can think of is to download Parallels, install the Windows 10 ARM Beta in a VM, and try running the 32-bit Windows binary through that. ![]() And it's my understanding that no version of MacOS earlier than Big Sur will run on an M1 machine, including via emulation. dmg: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) universal binary version, 32- and 64-bit Intel. You can install any of the below Sega 32X Emulators on your mac device and enjoy your favorite classic retro games All you have to do is to download the file, follow the instructions and download any rom and run it directly to your mac. Has anyone found a way to play some of the older, "wrapped" games available from Steam, GOG or Humble, on native MacOS on an M1 machine? For example the original Half-Life on Steam provides a Mac version, but it's a 32-bit binary, so it won't run on anything over Catalina.
